About my dog's ongoing health issues with Calcium Oxalate stones, urinary tract infections, toe tumors and amputations.
I don't know if you still write/check this blog, but I was wondering if there is any way that you could post the list of foods that the whole dog journal mentioned as safe for dogs with calcium oxalate stones? I used to get the whole dog journal and I got this issue, but I lost the issue one time and don't have a subscription anymore. I'm trying to remember which foods were safe and which ones were bad, but my memory is failing me. My little girl just got bladder stones and my vet assures me that she will have more in the future:( Thank you!!!
In the article, it links to another article which publishes an up-to-date list of foods and their oxalate content. Avoid the foods with the higher oxalate content. I've pasted the link from the article below:http://www.ohf.org/docs/Oxalate2008.pdf
Thank you so much!
anyway to get that pdf again? My dog was just diagnosed with calcium oxalates (12 weeks old) :(
Eric, I'm sorry I don't have the PDF anymore. The article above should have all the info that you need to construct a diet.
